Whistle Walk Creek

Whistle Walk Creek is a 325-foot stream channel located off of Mill Creek, a tributary of the James River drainage basin. During heavy rains, this area would frequently flood, creating an unsightly and dangerous environment for neighboring properties.

Cardinal designed an improved drainage system, which consisted of regrading the existing area, lining the creek with natural stone, and adding a series of concrete drains and run-offs. The new design not only solved the existing drainage problems, but it laso fit in perfectly with the area’s natural surroundings.
